The Conversion Mill would like to welcome and introduce our newest contributor, Chace Ambrose!

Chace began his writing career at the world’s oldest, still operating, independent film studio, Troma Entertainment as a co-writer on the film The Toxic Avenger IV. While in New York working for Troma, he attended film courses at NYU including one taught by noted filmmaker Spike Lee.

After leaving Troma and working on several other low-budget films he returned to his home state of Georgia. Chace ended up getting into the local tv news business. He started in production but within a few months, he began writing, shooting, and reporting. As a reporter, Chace used his investigative skills to help locate a viewer’s stolen car and even pointed out evidence that police overlooked that helped solve a murder case. This ended up becoming a nearly 20-year career which included reporting and anchoring in Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, and California.

Chace is an eclectic man and also worked very many other jobs between TV gigs. Everything from Animal Enforcement to managing a movie theater, to building police cars, and most recently car sales.

Speaking of cars he is very much a car guy and has owned over 130 vehicles in his lifetime including 16 hearses (we told you he was eclectic but also he’s eccentric) He participates in organized cross-country driving events similar to the original Cannonball Run (allegedly). He’s big into cosplay and regularly attends what he refers to as “Nerd conventions”

By being so eclectic and eccentric, Chace has developed a mass of knowledge on many different topics. Between that and his years of professional experience bringing stories to life on the big screen and the small … we are excited to welcome him to The Conversion Mill family and look forward to him applying those skills to help our clients grow their businesses!
